Wellbeing activities

We offer a range of healthy living activities, including music, exercise, walking, Tai Chi and outdoor activities.


A six-week programme for people who want to get back to cycling or improve their cycling skills.

Fitness for Wellbeing

Our experienced fitness coach will focus the session on cardio circuits and fitness with an opportunity to have a chat and share how things are going for you each week.

Exercise and Nutrition

Our Gentle Exercise class is a great way to do fun exercises at your own pace. We also offer courses on the basics of healthy eating and gentle exercise.

Tai Chi

This gentle exercise leaves you feeling refreshed and relaxed. It’s suitable for all ages and abilities and easily adapted to meet group/individual needs, as participants can complete the session either seated or standing. 

Wellbeing walks

Join our Nordic Walks, which combine walking with core and upper body conditioning, similar to Nordic skiing. 

If you aren’t ready to join a walking group, you can be matched with a buddy who can take you on shorter walks.

WELL course

This outdoor activity programme offers a variety of activities including willow weaving, environmental art, photography and bush craft. It is run by Changes and Amisfield Walled Garden, Haddington.

Mental Health Swims

Mental Health Swims is a community that welcomes and empowers everyone – people of all body shapes, skin colours, ages, backgrounds, genders, sexualities and abilities to enjoy the healing power of cold water and community. 

Ponder Wander (Wellbeing in Nature)

This outdoor activity programme offers an opportunity to enjoy nature and admire the beauty of East Lothian in a friendly and welcoming group.
