First Steps to Positive Mental Wellbeing Course


This course helps people to become more aware of their emotions, thinking, behaviours, and physical symptoms.

There can be up to 14 people on the course, and people are encouraged to work with others in small groups to learn ways to help themselves feel better and identify personal coping strategies for moving forward.

Volunteers co-facilitate First Steps with a staff member because it’s helpful to have someone leading the course who has gone through the same things as participants.
