Our cycling groups are currently on hold due to Covid-19 restrictions. However, if you’re interested we can add you to our waiting list for when we can start up cycling again.


We offer a six-week programme for people who want to get back to cycling or improve their cycling skills.

The aim of the programme is to make cycling fun, build up confidence on a bike and help people increase their level of physical activity as it is medically proven that people who do regular physical activity have:

Two volunteer cycle leaders will help you with all aspects of getting back to cycling and a bicycle, helmet and high viz vest can be supplied if required – so everything you need is provided. There will be no more than five people in the group.

After completing a six-week course, you can continue cycling in a group with the Follow-on Cycle Rides, which take place on a Tuesday 10:30am-12:30 pm. Bike maintenance sessions can also be arranged.
