Buddy Walk Coordinator

Part time | £26,975 pro-rata

8 hours per week, ideally over 2 days. 9 months fixed term with hope to extend subject to funding

Our Buddy Walk Coordinator is an exciting role within Changes, that will support the continuation of this existing project.  By matching volunteers and participants, you will support people in the community to get out and about, reduce their anxiety, set goals and improve their health and well being by having the opportunity to meet with a supportive volunteer. You will oversee the project, training and managing volunteers, risk assessing activities, contribute to reporting and evaluating. 

Based at the Changes office in Musselburgh, with the requirement to travel around East Lothian and working with the Development Coordinator and the wider Changes team to contribute to smooth and effective running of the project. The post-holder will play an active role as a member of the Changes team, contributing ideas and input to support the development of Changes wider services.

Groupwork Therapist

Part time | £26,975 pro-rata

14 hours per week over 2 days to include evening work (but alternative arrangements may be considered). 1-year fixed term contract with a view to continuing subject to funding

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated candidate who is confident working within a small, busy team whilst also with a high degree of autonomy. The postholder will be line managed by the Group Therapy Coordinator and work closely with them in providing therapy, primarily through groupwork to adults in East Lothian. They will be confident in learning and facilitating established therapy groups in both lead facilitator and co-facilitator roles. This post also provides the opportunity to be part of evaluating and developing the expanding Changes groupwork provision.

Location

The job is based in Changes premises in Musselburgh, other East Lothian venues and home working based on the needs of the service.
