Befriending East Lothian

Well Connected

Befriending East Lothian Coming Soon

Changes new befriending programme ‘Well Connected’ is coming to East Lothian.

Befriending East Lothian will connect people who are struggling with their mental health or feeling lonely or isolated with friendly, supportive volunteer befrienders, to meet 1-1 on a regular basis.

Well Connected can give people a new perspective on life, introduce them to new interests, and boost their self-esteem and confidence.

Befriending will be offered through 1-1 befriending matches as well as group based activities. Equally important, befriending pairs will be matched based on any common hobbies and interests and where possible they will take place locally. We will be offering befriending services face-to-face as well as over the phone and through video calling.
