This class uses music plus dance to help you stay active. The classes are run in a relaxed manner where people can enjoy improving their fitness in the company of others. All levels of ability are catered for. The sessions are ongoing and you can join at any time.
Wednesdays 13.45 – 14.45 in Fisherrow Centre, Musselburgh.
£3 per session.
Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi is a set of 18 simple and easy to learn movements that promote health and wellbeing. This gentle exercise leaves you feeling refreshed and relaxed. Aiding, concentration, stress reduction, building muscle tone and improving mobility through gentle stretching, fluid movement and focused breathing. Suitable for all ages and abilities and easily adapted to meet group/individual needs, as participants can complete the session either seated or standing.
There are 2 Tai Chi classes which are both held in Fisherrow, Musselburgh.
Thursdays 10.00 -11.00
£4 per session
These sessions, led by a volunteer, bring together an informal and friendly group of amateur singers, who enjoy singing their favourite songs and experience the joy of singing in a group. There will be some refreshments provided during the session.
Friday, 10.30 – 12.00 Fisherrow, Musselburgh. You can join at any time.
£1 contribution per session to cover room hire.
This 5 week course, led by a volunteer, will help you get to grips with the basics of this fun and versatile instrument as you gain the confidence to play chords and simple tunes. Ukuleles can be supplied during the session if required.
Wednesdays 15.00 – 16.00 Fisherrow, Mussleburgh
