CHANGES recruits, selects and trains volunteer workers in a variety of activities.

What is a Volunteer Worker

A volunteer worker is someone who chooses to give a commitment of time and energy for the benefit of other people and the community. Voluntary work is not done for financial gain.

What opportunities are there?

  • Outreach support - helping people to access CHANGES
  • Co-facilitate groups along with a worker
  • Volunteer walk leader for our Wellbeing Walks in Musselburgh, Haddington and Tranent
  • Volunteer Buddy Walker supporting people on a one to one basis to start walking and walk more
  • Distributing leaflets
